Appeal launched following Titchfield exposure incident

HAMPSHIRE CONSTABULARY have announced they have launched an “urgent” appeal for witnesses and information to help their continuing investigations following an ‘exposure’ incident that occurred in Titchfield; which saw a man seen walking fully naked along Brownwich Lane early this month and frightened a female who was in the ‘immediate vicinity’.

This incident happened in the time between 2pm and 3pm on September 11 (Wednesday) nearby to ‘Brownwich Farm’ where the unidentified male was witnessed walking on a public woodland path. He was wearing hiking boots and round glasses with a dark backpack but was otherwise fully naked and a lone woman had to take evasive action to avoid him.

The man is described as being white and aged approximately 50 to sixty years old, whilst he was said to be around 5ft 10in tall and had a large build with a big belly. His hair was described as being a really faint mousey brown in its colour and looking extremely messy like it hadn’t been cut but it soon appeared that he didn’t have much hair from a distance.

Investigators are requesting that anybody with any information contact the police by calling the non-emergency number 101 and quote the case’s reference number of 44240390546. They can further submit details using the online reporting tool available on the Hampshire Police website with official supports and further guidance available on these links here.

Alternatively, readers can contact the “independent charity” Crimestoppers 100% anonymously by calling 0800 555 111 for absolutely free; or via their anonymous online forms which can be found through their website: https://orlo.uk/250kR
