Borough announce final 2024-25 season ticket prices
By Connor Steel
GOSPORT BOROUGH have officially confirmed their season ticket prices for this upcoming 2024-25 campaign as they prepare to mark their eightieth anniversary as a team; which will see them aim for promotion from the Southern League Premier and into a self sufficient operating model that is looking to make a brilliant long term future for the AEI Stadium.
Prices were released in an online statement on Monday night (June 17) and will take effect later this week as the ability to purchase begins on Thursday morning; the club stating they are offering ‘amazing value’ when compared to rivals at Step 3 level. They further paid tribute to supporters for their attendance last season as gates of 600 attended most ties.
All season tickets will offer access to twenty-one league ties at the ‘AEI Stadium’ featuring exciting games versus sides such as Havant & Waterlooville, Basingstoke, AFC Totton, and Gloucester City. This however doesn’t cover any games in the FA Cup / Trophy with separate ticket purchases needed for these encounters alongside all the local competitions.
Adults can purchase a season ticket for a cost of £180 (£8.57 per game), whilst juniors aged from twelve to sixteen can get one for £60 (£2.85 a game). The club have further combined ‘community and concession’ groups to one ticket price of £105 (£5.00 a tie); covering OAPs, NHS / emergency services staff, disabled fans, veterans and coaches of GBYFC.
They have also introduced half season tickets where fans can have the opportunity to pay for 10 games and follow this with eleven games to help tackle the general cost of living challenges. This will mean two payments of £90 at set dates throughout this year; this exact move being used for juniors at two lots of £30 and £52.50 for community / concessions.
Meanwhile individual matchday prices will be frozen at £12 and £8 when purchased online before a home game, whilst tickets purchased at the turnstile are set to range from £13 to £5 depending on type or grouping. The club will advertise any ‘special occasions’ where these ticket prices could change such as for Non League Days and certain cup matches.
Supporters are urged to visit the Gosport Borough website for further information including their comparision chart with teams across their league. They can also explore newly released updates and fixture announcements via social media.
