Borough unveil new 2022-23 kits

By Connor Steel

GOSPORT BOROUGH have officially unveiled their home and away kits for the 2022-23 season through an online press release; with supporters able to pre-order their own replica shirts at the official club shop from Saturday afternoon Privett Park hosts the Southern League South opener at 3pm versus Merthyr Town FC.

The new kits, created by sports brand Errea, will feature the club’s two sponsors for the new season; which were confirmed as Spurway Scaffolding and the AEI Group earlier this year. And the simple smart designs follow the colour schemes of previous years; featuring yellow for the home kit and white for the away strip.

Blue will also be used as a supporting colour on both strips, which will have similar collar styles and feature no background patterns or shape designs. It is not fully known what colours the shorts and socks are for each kit at the time of writing, but Borough fans are encouraged to find out by attending upcoming games.

It is expected that Gosport will wear their home strip next Saturday afternoon versus Weston-super-Mare at the Optima Stadium, with the first outing of the away kit likely to be the game versus Chesham United due to a potential colour clash as seen last season. However this hasn’t yet been confirmed by the club at this time.

Information about prices have also been released with a new junior shirt costing £29.50 and an adult jersey currently priced at £39.50 each, which includes postage fees to the club. Buyers are asked to inform the club of their required size with small, medium, large and extra large likely to be available amongst many others.

Tickets are furthermore available to purchase for the match on Saturday costing £10 for adults and £7 for concession, with under sixteens going free with a paying adult. New season passes can also be collected by entering Turnstile A (adjacent to cricket nets) before proceeding to the ‘Season Ticket Collection Desk’ area.
