GOSPORT POLICE have released an e-fit picture of a male they wish to speak to in connection with a rape attack that occurred last winter, hoping that it provides a long awaited breakthrough in their ongoing investigations into the offence committed more than four months ago.
It is reported that a sixteen year old girl was walking down the alleyway located behind Gosport High Street on November 19, 2021, between 5pm and 6pm; when she was approached by an older man she didn’t know who then proceeded to physically assault and rape her.
The incident was quickly reported to police who have been conducting investigations and have received enough evidence to create the e-fit, which was released via social media over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend as officers seek the public’s support to help identify the man in the above picture.
According to a neighbourhood alert the man is described as white, approximately 5 feet eleven inches tall and of large build alongside being between 45 to 50 years in age. He is said to be wearing a green or khaki coloured jacket / coat and grey jogging bottoms, alongside having long grey and brown hair.
