E-Fits published in Lee-on-the-Solent assault appeal
HAMPSHIRE CONSTABULARY have announced they have launched an “urgent” appeal for witnesses and information to progress their ongoing investigation following a violent incident that occurred in Lee-on-the-Solent earlier in the year; which saw two seventeen year old boys assaulted by five males and one woman during the early hours of the morning.
It is repored that these victims were assaulted between 1am and 1:15am on May 5 (Sunday) within Marina Parade car park after they were approached by the group. One boy siad that he was punched in the face and the second recieved cuts / bruises on his face in this incident; which was reported to officers soon afterwards and is still under investigation.
Detectives published an update on Thursday afternoon (June 27) using their online platforms and have released some basic descriptions / e-fits of six people that they ‘wish to speak with’ about the incident. These six images may be seen below and they are urging people to contact them if they recognise any of the inviduals / may know further information.
The first man is described as being aged between nineteen to twenty with a slim build; whilst being white in skin colour, approximately 5ft 9 ins in height, having shaven hair and wearing a puffer jacket. Man two is said to be white and aged nineteen with a height of 5ft 11ins; alongside having a musclar build with short blonde hair and wearing darker clothing.
The third and fourth men are both reported to be aged from 18 to 19 years old with a height of 6 feet, alongside having white skin. Man three is further described as having lean build and short blonde hair whilst he wore a white T-shirt with blue jeans; the fourth male being recognised by having shaven hair / stubble with a tooth gap and his large black coat.
The final man is stated to be aged eighteen with white skin, a slim build and around 5ft 7ins tall in height; whilst having dark curly hair / stubble on face and wearing a green tracksuit / dark coloured hat. Meanwhile the female is reported to be aged 19-20 and of mixed race; whilst she was wearing dark clothes / ‘gold hoop’ earrings with slim build / curly hair.
Investigators are asking for anyone with information or can help to contact police by calling the non-emergency number 101 and quote the case’s reference number of 44240187996.
