Hunt for thugs who mugged teenager in Fareham

POLICE want to speak to the gang pictured here following a mugging incident in Fareham on Sunday, September 12.

At 4pm, a 16-year-old boy was approached by three strangers in West Street.

One of them put the victim in a headlock and walked him to Grove Road, where he was assaulted by the group and threatened with violence, including having a knife put to his stomach.

They then took the boy’s belongings, including a black iPhone XR, Apple AirPods Pro and £20 cash, and left the scene in the direction of the park next to Fareham Leisure Centre.

Investigating officers want to hear from anyone who might have witnessed the robbery or have CCTV footage of what happened.

Hampshire Constabulary are asking members of the public if they recognise the individuals pictured and, if so, to get in touch.
