Scenic views from Gosport seafront

Never has changing morning routines looked so beautiful and calm!!! After months of using the train to commute to Portsmouth for work in the city centre due to icy weather and ‘laziness’, it was time to bow to pressure from colleagues to join them at the ferry in the mornings to keep them company over the calm waters.

And whilst waiting for them to join their new companion for the 8:15am ferry last Friday (11/02), it offered a prime opportunity to capture the stunning views over the water from various points. This included either side of the ferry terminal, pier and various points along the way.

With clear skies and a cold atmosphere in the air, the mobile phone camera did the rest to capture all eight photographs in this gallery. Unfiltered and taken on a basic camera setting, the photos are too good not to share to our amazing readers for their support.

Sadly for this little jaunt and snappy bit of fun, colleagues eventually arrived at the ferry and then the serious stuff began. However, a final opportunity saw a photograph of Gosport from The Hard as the sunset started, which helped bring the week to a pleasant ending before the weekend called.
