SUELLA BRAVERMAN has congratulated pupils across her constituency as she concluded her annual Christmas Card design competition this week, the Fareham Member of Parliament and current Attorney General presenting a prize to the eventual winner last Wednesday (December 10) just days after presenting the final design to Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

The competition was launched in early November and was able to school-children of all ages and having received over 100 entries the winner was announced as Amelia from Titchfield Primary; the year six student creating a hand-drawn design featuring the Houses of Parliament with Christmas theme decorations including snowmen and festive baubles as a backdrop.

Upon choosing the winner after much deliberation Braverman printed hundreds of the final design and has since given them out to her Parliamentary colleagues in Westminster alongside members of the Royal Family. She also posed for a photograph with Boris Johnson in Downing Street (see top image), which has been shared on a huge range of materials including social media.

And last Wednesday the Attorney General visited Titchfield Primary School for a special assembly, in which she presented a prize to the winner in front of her peers. This featured a framed photograph of her winning Christmas card design accompanied by the above image with her leader; whilst small certificates were given to all year six students who entered the competition from the school.

But Braverman also thanked and appreciated everybody who put forward their designs, with an extremely tough process to decide the winner. In a Facebook post made on Friday afternoon (17th), the day after Parliament went into recess, she said: “I was delighted to receive so many entries and am grateful for the time and effort that so many primary school pupils around Fareham put in.”.
