OUR very own Sky TV presenter has upgraded her popular weekend entertainment show to include even more top musical artists and cover a wider range of those much-loved generations.
Fareham’s Hayley Palmer, 39, Fareham will launch her latest show `Saturday Nights with Hayley Palmer` which will air every Saturday at 9pm on Sky TV 365, Freesat 516 or Freeview Play 264.
The show is set to replace the former `Memory Lane 80s` and promises to bring a fantastic line up of guests with a new addition, `song of the week` which will showcase a range of newer artists, some of whom have never had their videos aired on TV.
The theme tune to the new show has been created by Mark Read, former member of the 90s UK chart topping band A1 who you will remember from their cover version of `Take on Me`.
Mark who is also locally based, in Portsmouth, had previously appeared on the `At home with Hayley` program which airs on Wednesdays.
Hayley said: “I’ve loved presenting my 80s Show. I’ve had some amazing guests including Paul Young, OMD, Paul Carrack, Nik Kershaw and Toyah.
“The new show expands the format to give my viewers even more Saturday night entertainment.
“I thought it would be a good idea to widen the scope to the 70s and 90s alongside the 80s, bringing a wider range of entertainment to Saturday nights.
“The song of the week would be a great idea to showcase new talent and for artists to have the opportunity to showcase their music videos.
“I’ve always been passionate about supporting the music industry, and helping people fulfil their dreams and what better opportunity to have a window prime time on a Saturday night.”
