Witnesses sought after Stubbington teenager attack
HAMPSHIRE CONSTABULARY have announced they have launched an “urgent” appeal for witnesses and information to help their ongoing investigation following a concerning incident that happened in Stubbington last Wednesday; which saw a fourteen year old boy assaulted by an unidentified person (s) as he walked home after the end of the school day.
It was reported that the boy was walking through a “grassy space” between Crofton Hammond Junior School and Bells Lane at approximately 2:30pm on March 5 where he was approached and assaulted. Officers were made aware of this incident whilst the boy was taken to hospital by both parents and received treatment for injuries on his face / neck area.
Detectives are looking to speak with anybody who could have witnessed any suspicious activities within the village last Wednesday afternoon; along with potential information that may help to identify suspects. This includes people walking or driving in the surrounding roads of Stubbington and those with video / Dash-cam footage that would prove important.
