Fareham venue celebrates ticket sales milestone

FAREHAM LIVE are celebrating a major milestone as they announced that a total of 100,000 tickets have been sold by the venue since launching to the public back in late September; thus ensuring a brilliant start for the ‘community facility’ featuring high-profile performances and sell out shows as it looks forward to the six month anniversary later this month.
It all began in September 2024 as this venue hosted the grand opening performance of The Prat Pack starring comedy legends Bradley Walsh, Brian Conley, Shane Richie and Joe Pasquale. This has been followed by a variety of sold out performances from Jimmy Carr, Al Murray, Jane McDonald (cruising legend), and local comedy club “Stitches” recently.
Their biggest highlight was seen throughout December and January as the Cinderella pantomime season gained large amounts of praise from critics and visitors alike; whilst two stars have been nominated in an UK Award as reported last week. Fareham Live followed this with a sole showing of the adult pantomime entitled Jack & His Giant Stalk (January).
Upcoming performances have further helped the venue to surpass this 100,000 ticket mark with Josh Widdicombe and adventurer Ben Fogle due to perform this year; alongside the paranormal shows of Uncanny: Fear of the Dark and Tim Peake. Children’s shows have also been planned for the holidays and gives families a chance to come together for fun.
Its Venue Director, Stephan Stockton MBE, highlighted “the wonderful support from the communities. We are incredibly grateful to all for embracing this venue and coming out to support its live entertainment.” Council Leader, Simon Martin, stated: “I am delighted to see that Fareham Live is doing so phenomenally well” with their full comments available here.
