Residents invited to grand opening of new bakery

LOCAL RESIDENTS have been invited to attend the grand opening of a new bakery in Gosport later this month; which will offer people the opportunity to celebrate the family run business venture with a sweet treat alongside goodies and giveaways throughout the event.

Gregson Bakers will officially open to the public at 10am next Saturday morning (August 22) and the owners have offered a number of incentives for those who visit on the first day. This includes a free cake and balloons for everybody who comes along, whilst sample tasting will be available so people can try before they buy.

A free raffle will also be held on the day itself whilst attendees can participate in a Spin The Wheel activity. Both will have prizes for winning and there will be a special guest as the Gosport Mayor, Councillor Kirsten Bradley, is due to formally open the business.  The event has been shared on social media and has been viewed by hundreds of people in the local community, whilst local jobs have been created to help the business thrive.

The new bakery has an address of 72 Gregson Avenue and the postcode is PO13 0UR with parking available nearby. Once it has opened customers have been promised quality baking using traditional recipes on a wide range of products; including bread, doughnuts, baguettes, cakes and sandwiches for a reasonable price.

Particular highlights for customers are the Lardi cake and a large selection of tray bakes to choose from. Both of these will be made fresh each day alongside sourdough and the business is to incorporate a sub deli counter that has an impressive two foot long sub available.

They will also supply pre-packaged rolls, sandwiches and other snacks for onward sales by local retailers, whilst outside catering for buffets, events and office parties will also be available.
