Shopping Centre announces ‘free’ science workshop

FAREHAM SHOPPING CENTRE have urged younger shoppers to participate in their ‘exciting and wonderous’ science workshop event due to be held at the start of this upcoming February Half Term holiday, offering families an opportunity to enjoy time together and create happy memories as organisers look to build on their popular occasions held last year.
The workshop has been scheduled to take place between 11am and 3pm on February 17 (Saturday), with the activities being held around Osborn Square (near to B&M and Debenhams). It is completely “free” to everybody and children will be provided with a lab coat, which will allow them to enjoy a range of slime and foam experiments that are set to excite.
Shopping Centre Manager, Mike Taylor, said: “Anticipation is building as we announce the upcoming science event that will captivate and motivate all who visit. It’s an opportunity for children to get creative and inspire the next generation of budding scientists. The event promises a range of interactive and hands-on activities that will engage and entertain all.”
This event is set to be the first of a busy calendar throughout 2024 and a vast majority will be centred around a specific theme; which may include Mothers Day and Easter before the end of March. The shopping centre also hosted a mix of summer events in 2023 that incorporated a superheroes theme over multiple weekends; with shoppers urged to check.
Readers can find out further information about the ‘science workshop’ and events by clicking on the Fareham Shopping Centre website, which further features a layout map of all stores and small businesses. Alternatively they may also visit social media platforms including their Facebook, Twitter and Instagram or contacting their dedicated team on the email.
