Shopping Centre invites visitors to Halloween event
FAREHAM SHOPPING CENTRE have invited local residents and visitors to participate in a spooktacular day of free activities to celebrate Halloween later this month; where pumpkin decorating and face painting is set to take over Osborn Square (near B&M).
Activities will be taking place from 11am to 3pm on October 31 (Saturday) and will give people the chance to get creative by decorating their very own pumpkin to take home. Talented face painters will further be in attendance throughout the above timeframe to transform children into Halloween themed characters; such as witches, vampires, pumpkins, little monsters and spooky creatures.
These will be completely free and are suitable for children of all ages, thus creating a ‘perfect opportunity’ for families to get into the Halloween spirit and enjoy some half-term fun together in the heart of Fareham town centre.
Centre Manager at Fareham Shopping Centre, Mike Taylor, said: “We’re really looking forward to welcoming families to Osborn Square for some Halloween fun this October. Our free family events are always incredibly popular, so we wanted to create something children of all ages could enjoy.”
He continued to say: “Pumpkin decorating is a brilliant way for children to get creative – and, of course, they’ll be able to take their pumpkin home ready for Halloween “With free face painting too, there will be plenty to keep little ones entertained. We hope families will come along, join in the fun, and make a day of it by exploring everything Fareham town centre has to offer. “
