Shopping centre to host Coronation craft event

FAREHAM SHOPPING CENTRE have announced they will be holding a free ‘creative crafting’ event to mark the upcoming Coronation of King Charles III next Saturday; which is due to encourage younger audiences to get involved in the momentous occasion and give families a brilliant chance to celebrate together for no cost.
Children are invited to attend Osborn Square (near to B&M & Debenhams) between 11am and 3pm on May 6, where they will be able to decorate their own ‘Kings Coronation Keepsake Box’. The craft supplies will be provided and this will be a free event for everybody to attend, with a team of shopping centre staff available.
This designated craft area will furthermore include a decorating and letter writing station, whilst each child in attendance will also get the opportunity to have their photograph taken and printed. Creations can further be taken home and safely put into their decorated keepsake boxes, which hopefully will be kept for many years.
The event follow successful craft ‘workshops’ at Fareham Shopping Centre over recent months, including for Easter and Mothers Day related sessions. Manager Mike Taylor said: “We are thrilled to invite families down to the centre for the Kings Coronation and have their little ones create their own coronation keepsake boxes”
Readers can find out more information about this free event and others by clicking on the Fareham Shopping Centre website, which further features a layout map of all stores and small businesses. Alternatively they can also visit social media platforms including their Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, or contacting on this email.
