Shopping Centre unveils details on new play facility

By Connor Steel

FAREHAM SHOPPING CENTRE have announced that a brand new facility will open to the public later this month after months of preparation; which will allow young children to ignite imagination within the ‘role play world’ with twelve areas full of fun stimulation activities able to be sampled by pre-schoolers and families in the security of 11-13 Westbury Mall.

Wonder is scheduled to open on September 21 and is a site designed for younger children; this ‘play area’ including an airport, space station, fire station, an underwater cove, an indoor beach and a superhero headquarters. These types of role play allows children to recognise their world, whilst boosting cognitive skill, memory function and logical reasoning.

This will be the second space for the family venture after opening in Havant, which has proved to be a ‘big success’ as visitors travel to the Meridian Centre. Their Fareham site will be just as welcoming with benefits such as a café serving handcrafted coffee, luxury cakes and food, baby change, a feeding area and toilets that may be enjoyed by everybody.

Visitors must book their space into a choice of play sessions that are costed from £1; these options raising from an off-peak after school timeslot to a daily playdate or social grouping featuring mums and dads. There is also the availability for the site to host children’s parties and a range of events will be made available online using the easy to use website.

Readers can find all further information about the new Wonder facility and others by clicking on the Fareham Shopping Centre website, which further features a layout map of all stores and small businesses. Alternatively they can also visit social media platforms including their FacebookTwitter and Instagram, or contacting the dedicated team on this email.
