Police release CCTV regarding High Street incident

HAMPSHIRE CONSTABULARY have announced they have released a CCTV image of an unidentified male they wish to speak with regarding a reported indecent exposure incident that happened within Gosport High Street earlier on this summer; which is currently being investigated by police and involved a sixteen-year-old girl walking in this nearby area.

It was reported that the incident occurred shortly after 9pm on August 9 (Saturday) as the victim walked along the High Street close to Bemister’s Lane where the male indecently exposed himself to her. She had first spotted the man at the Ferry Gardens a few minutes beforehand and there was no contact between them; the victim not being hurt as a result.

The man is described as being white and aged in his fifties with large build whilst he was approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall. He was wearing a blue short sleeved top with moon / wolves as part of its design, alongside dark trousers, sandals and black framed glasses. As shown in this still CCTV imagery, he further had short white hair and a white facial beard.
