Seaside outing for a Minor fundraiser

THE Hampshire Area Morris Minor Owner’s Club (HAMMOC) will be holding a fundraising event at Lee-on-the-Solent on Saturday, April 15.

This event is a regional support event for the national Morris Minor Owner’s Club sponsorship of  ‘Miranda’.

And 2023 celebrates the 75th year of the Morris Minor marque and the 75th year of Marie Curie.

HAMMOC is visiting the Hovercraft Museum on Saturday and will be taking the opportunity to bring Miranda down to Lee-on-the-Solent.

Miranda will be at the Hovercraft Museum in the early morning, then move to Marine Parade at the war memorial around 10.30 am.  Miranda will remain there until a planned visit to the cafe at Daedalus airfield at about 1.30 pm.

She will return to Lee at 2.30pm and stay there until 4pm.

Marie Curie volunteer fundraisers will be helping with the collection of donations in support of Marie Curie.
