Shopping Centre announce special Easter Egg event
By Connor Steel
FAREHAM SHOPPING CENTRE have invited all young residents to attend their egg-citing free event that is scheduled to take place over the upcoming Easter weekend; which will see participants attempt to ‘hunt’ down many missing eggs within the centre as organisers hope to make memories over the Bank Holiday period and start school holidays in style.
Four ‘Egg Hunts’ will leave Osborn Square (nearby B&M and Debenhams) throughout the day on March 30 (Saturday); starting at 11:30am, 12:30pm, 1:30pm and 2:30pm. Children will be permitted to wear a trench coat and search for ‘six’ missing eggs using a magnifying glass; which will all be hidden by staff at certain locations within the Shopping Centre.
Children will be guided around the centre and return to Osborn Square after each hunt, which are set to last for around thirty minutes. They are further able to decorate their own Easter eggs using a range of craft materials and can take all these creations home, whilst families can savour lasting memories using a specifically created “Easter Instagram” filter.
Shopping Centre Manager, Mike Taylor, commented: “We’re thrilled to hold this Easter event for all our community, and wanted to create an experience that captures the magic and joy of the season. From tracking down all the Easter eggs to decorating eggs, there’s something for everyone to enjoy! Mark your calendar for March 30 and enjoy this occasion.”
Readers can find out further information about the ‘science workshop’ and events by clicking on the Fareham Shopping Centre website, which further features a layout map of all stores and small businesses. Alternatively they may also visit social media platforms including their Facebook, Twitter and Instagram or contacting their dedicated team on the email.
