Former wrestling champion to visit Gosport

WRESTLING FANS will get a chance to see former TNA champion Doug Williams in action at Thorngate Halls this weekend, featuring as part of a showcase of matches to be held in Gosport on Easter Sunday (April 17) as part of a Kapow Wrestling and Solent Wrestling Federation competition starting at 3pm.

The wrestler, nicknamed The Ambassador, will go against Ian Logan, ‘The Idol’ in one of five clashes throughout the afternoon; hoping to continue good results in singles matches following his return to the independent circuit that started back in summer 2021 having fought many UK opponents.

Featuring alongside the former professional champion will be a four wrestler tag team title match, which will see Lookachu combining with Lion Kid to seal a belt against their opposition fighters Vicious and Delicious. Another tag team match will see MJR Lee Buff join Billy Whizz in an encounter with Twitch and Matt MG.

There is another title on the line in form of an All Nations Championship Match between current holder Bobby Vegas (Big Money) and Bullit, who is also known as ‘Challenger’; whilst a women’s single match will see Nightshade face off against Connie Style at some point in the afternoon.

It is not fully known which order these matches will take place in, but doors are set to open at the Thorngate Halls at 2:30pm; the bell for action ringing at 3pm and lasting for two hours before finishing at 5pm.  And tickets for this Easter Showcase are available to purchase online now!!!

Although the early bird offer has now sold out, tickets priced at £10 each can be brought via the Kapow Wrestling website here; with organisers asking visitors to show their Paypal receipt as proof of purchase due to the company being available to offer physical tickets for their events.
