MP Caroline restarts surgeries for constituents
GOSPORT MP Caroline Dinenage will hold two drop-in surgeries next Friday, October 15, at Lee Hub and Elson Library with everybody welcome from the area.
Her open advice surgeries, the first since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic in March 2020, will give constituents the opportunity to discuss concerns about local and national issues without making an appointment to meet.
She said: “It’s great to be back holding drop-in surgeries again. It is really important that these are as accessible as possible and they tend to be extremely popular with people from across the area popping in to have a chat, raise problems and receive advice.
“I would encourage anyone who wouldn’t normally think of booking an appointment at my Stoke Road surgery to drop in.”
Caroline’s surgery in Lee Hub will take place between 10.45am and 12.15pm. The second surgery of the day at Elson Library will take place between 1pm and 2.30pm.
It is hoped that as the winter continues that these open surgeries will return on a weekly basis at the MPs office in Stoke Road as lockdown eases, but this is unconfirmed as yet.
For more information about the open surgeries, please call her constituency office on 023 9252 2121.
