Picture Special: The Coronation in Gosport
GOSPORT has joined fellow towns and cities in marking the Coronation of King Charles III on May 6; taking advantage of a Bank Holiday weekend with community events and street parties. According to the council a total of fourteen roads were fully closed to allow all festivities to go ahead despite unsettled and wet weather.
To mark this occasion the Globe invited residents to send their photographs and the editorial team were met with multiple emails; including images from three local events held over recent days. If anybody would like to add to this collection so far they can email their photos to editorial@thegosportglobe.co.uk for their inclusion.
