Police appeal over racist bus pests

HAMPSHIRE POLICE have announced their appeal for witnesses and information to come forward following a racially aggravated public order incident that occurred upon a local bus in Gosport back on Valentines Day; also asking for the assistance in identifying the male seen in the ‘still’ CCTV image as a key lead in this case.

Officers are continuing to follow up on reports that two men became rowdy on the local bus service just after 9:30pm that evening (February 14); repeatedly pressing the stop button. When challenged the men shouted a barrage of racist abuse at the driver before exiting the vehicle; police arriving at the scene soon afterwards.

The above CCTV image shows one of the two males that officers want to speak to, but no further information or descriptions have yet been published at this time. Police have outlined that the initial enquires are ongoing and have requested anybody with potential information to come forward to help the continuing investigations.
