Bygone Years: Marking a local Christmas
DECEMBER 25 will see families and friends celebrate ‘Christmas’ together across the area; laughs, food, and presents filling many houses in both Gosport and Fareham. The Globe would like to take the opportunity to thank our readers for all of their treasured support during this extremely interesting year of 2023, and hope everyone enjoys the celebrations.
For the weekly edition of Bygone Years our Globe photographer Peter Maguire has been searching through his popular collection of historic and recent local imagery to showcase the theme of Christmas; either through the snowy scenes of past winters or from the multitude of local “festive themed” events across this region (credits to original photographers).
