Craft Fayre adds festive look to packed Thorngate

THORNGATE HALLS started their build-up to Christmas over the weekend after hosting a successful craft event on Sunday; seeing lots of business completed by both sellers and bargain-hunters on a busy day of business activities.

Although this recent event was themed around the festive period, there was something for all tastes and ages who visited; products ranging from Tooth Fairy pillows to camera-style bedside lamps and Christmas themed decorations

One Globe reader told our assistant editor on Monday: “I spent around 45 minutes walking round and although I did not buy anything, I loved going round seeing all the products and chatting to everybody who was running a stall at this fayre”.

Gosport Community Association (GCA) chairman Sue Desbois, who was key to the organisation, hailed the event as a “great success” and is hoping that invited members & guests support the traditional Christmas table-top sale taking place on December 5 following last year’s cancellation due to COVID-19 lockdown restrictions.
