Expert to share organisational success at HWB

ONE OF THE SOUTH’S top business experts is to share his secrets of organisational success at a free seminar hosted by Hampshire accountants HWB, currently scheduled to be held in early March.

Simon Rhodes, former Managing Partner and Head of Employment at law firm Trethowans and now an independent business consultant with Red Heart Blue Head, will explain how attendees can turn their organisations into ‘Super-tribes’.

An author of three books on organisational culture and business performance, Simon will apply learnings from his business and consultancy career of more than 25 years to explain how directors and managers can increase the opportunity for business success.

Simon said: “Members of a Super-tribe share a common sense of purpose, goals and support for each other. Becoming a Super-tribe can be transformative in a business. It can mean the difference between having success as a cohesive, collaborative whole or underperforming because of misalignment, dysfunction or a loss of focus and direction.”

The breakfast seminar is expected to appeal to all senior decision makers in charge of teams, as well as HR specialists across the region and beyond.

Simon continued: “Now is an opportune time to review your organisation’s path to success in light of the pandemic and its impact on business operations. HWB has many good business clients who will be working really hard to make sense of where the world is now.

“There has been a seismic shift to more flexible working, which means colleagues have inevitably been physically separated. That’s had a big impact, much of which is unseen. Given the pandemic, the need to communicate a sense of belonging and unity of purpose is more important than ever.”

HWB Director Michaela Johns said: “Simon will reveal how attendees can look at their organisations through a different prism, aligning personal and company motivation to increase their prospects of success.

“The seminar has a universal message about how organisations work internally and how they operate in the wider world. We all need to pull our teams together whether you are a regional business, a sports team or a multinational conglomerate. This seminar will be relevant to every kind of organisation. It’s all about creating your own Super-tribe and making good, strategic decisions to achieve a shared goal.”

The seminar ‘Super-Tribes with Simon Rhodes’ takes place at the Axis Conference Centre on the University of Southampton Science Park on Thursday 3 March 2022, from 8am to 10am. To register, visit https://www.hwb-accountants.com/events/.
