Fareham shoppers invited to Easter events

By Connor Steel

FAREHAM SHOPPING CENTRE have invited visitors to enjoy ‘chocolate related’ fun as they announced two free activities aimed at marking this upcoming Easter Bank Holiday weekend; which will see multiple retailers combine with town centre shoppers to celebrate this important occasion in the Christian calendars on April 8.

A family friendly egg hunt has been created and will be run by centre staff at hourly intervals from 11:30am to 2:30pm; starting in Osborn Square opposite B&M and Debenhams. Shoppers will then be allowed to venture around the centre to visit a variety of retailers and collect sweet treats that can all be taken home afterwards.

Staff will be replenishing stock within the intervals between each Easter egg hunt and the shopping centre is offering a free craft activity to fill this time. In Osborn Square children are invited to put their artistic skills fully to the test by decorating chocolate bunnies, which again can be taken home and indulged upon with no cost.

Centre Manager Mike Taylor commented in a short press release: “We are thrilled to host an Easter egg hunt here at Fareham to get everybody in the mood for the Easter weekend! The hunt is a perfect activity for local parents to bring their little children to, and is free for all to attend, offering all tasty delicious treats at the end!”

Readers can find out more information about this free event and others by clicking on the Fareham Shopping Centre website, which further features a layout map of all stores and small businesses. Alternatively they can also visit social media platforms including their FacebookTwitter, and Instagram, or contacting on this email.
