Final paranormal investigation held at famous gym
A TEAM of paranormal investigations came together recently in a final trip to the legendary “Don Styler’s Gym” based in Elson; which was previously a smallpox hospital / morgue and the building is due to be demolished leaving only the land for people to visit this historic site.
It proved to be such a sad experience for everybody in attendance as they have investigated, experienced and caught many unexplained events. The previous owner, Don Styler, was a spiritual man and nearby land alongside Monks Walk is also known to investigators for its paranormal activities.
GS Exploring with Ghosts and Exploring the Afterlife travelled from up north to experience this amazing place before it is no more. The visit proved successful with investigators leaving a locked off camera and further did a livestream from the site, which was enjoyed by many people online.
A male was held saying “get out” a couple of times and the investigators received responses to several questions relating to the hospital; which were answered by a female voice near to the filming equipment. A lot of these captures were heard in real time and the camera has backed up the evidence.
Many taps, knocks and bangs were also heard within the building, although these would likely be ruled out as being paranormal sounds. This is often done by investigators in case the building is deteriorating and is particularly common in sites as historic as this one.
Investigators did enjoy their visit but were disappointed to see the building in a poor state due to vandalism and photos / videos all portray large pieces of rubbish on the floors. But they all agreed a sadness about the coming demolition, especially for the legacy of Don Styler who was a well-liked and respected person in Gosport.
