Images released after Gosport assault

HAMPSHIRE POLICE have released E-fit and CCTV images of two people they would like to identify as part of an ongoing assault in the Grange area of Gosport, which occurred two weeks ago and left a man suffering injuries after he was pulled out of his address following an earlier incident involving a nearby unleashed dog.

It has been reported that the man aged in his fifties was driving in Samson Close between the times of 12pm and 1pm on October 27 (Thursday), when a woman with an unleashed dog stepped into the road. Upon him parking up the woman soon approached his stationary vehicle and verbally abused him before walking away.

The victim returned to his home but another man turned up at his address within ten minutes and is stated to have knocked on the door. The victim was subsequently pulled out of his front door by the male and punched on multiple times; suffering lumps to his head, a number of grazes and a black eye as a result of this assault.

Police would like to identify the man pictured in this E-fit image, and the woman pictured in this CCTV image as part of their enquires, asking for any witnesses to speak with officers if not already done. If anybody does knows who these two people are, or even has video footage of the incident, they are encouraged to report it.
