Lap of honour for award-winning pools firm

HAMPSHIRE-BASED Aqua Platinum Projects – APP – has scooped two awards at the UK’s biggest competition for water leisure, the UK Pool and Spa Awards.

The pool design and build company has been crowned Pool Contractor of the Year 2022 for the second time in just two years, and has also won the award for Luxury Pool of the Year.

These annual awards are the highest accolades in the industry, attracting hundreds of entries along with thousands of online votes each year, before being scrutinised by an independent judging panel.

Christina Connor, from the award organisers, said: “Despite strong competition, Aqua Platinum Projects stood out for the jury because they ticked all the boxes across project delivery. They scored top marks in design, with the judges commenting on the practicality of their outstanding-looking designs.

“The judges remarked on how APP consistently specified top-drawer, proven and quality products in the specification of equipment for its projects. Even more than that, APP are a company bursting with pride and passion for their work, making them worthy representatives of the UK pool industry as a whole.”
