Appeal launched after Hill Head burglary

HAMPSHIRE POLICE have launched an urgent appeal for any information or footage from witnesses after a property was burgled in Hill Head earlier this month; which saw a varying selection of watches, jewellery, and handbags stolen by two offenders before they were ultimately disturbed by residents who were in their home.

The reported burglary happened on December 16 (Friday) between 7:10pm and 7:20pm when two offenders entering a house on Crofton Lane. It is reported the illegal access was gained through an unlocked door with the two wearing black clothing and balaclavas; although other details are not available at this time of writing.

Investigators believe that these two offenders may have attempted to target other addresses in the area after being disrupted and leaving the scene; residents being asked to check CCTV camera and dash cam footage for information that may help police. This could include those acting suspiciously or any suspicious vehicles.
