GOSPORT has received a business boost this week following the announcement that Pavers Shoes will be opening their new store in the town next month, which will be based at the popular Garden Centre in Alver Centre and will join the brand’s existing store located in Port Solent.
The new store is scheduled for opening on March 22 (Tuesday) and is set to have a Garden Centre Pavers layout; stocking own brand styles alongside Skechers, Relife, Reiker, Bugatti and Flyflot with most styles on sale retailing at thirty percent off recommended retail prices (RRP).
An event to open the new store is furthermore scheduled, with the main feature being a balloon display suitable for all ages. Complimentary biscuits will be available to every visitor alongside the fantastic opportunity to enter an in-store competition to win a free pair of shoes.
Store Area Manager Shalim Miah said: “We are very pleased to join the new Alver Valley Garden Centre in Gosport, we think our new Pavers customers will love the brand as it focuses on designing comfortable shoes without compromising on style”.
Head of Retail Gary Gordon commented, “We are passionate about our physical stores that enable customers to browse our collections and find their perfect style. We understand that our customers often want advice and a human connection when they are shopping, and we are proud of our high street retail stores which deliver this”.
Pavers Shoes has been trading since 1971 with the first store opened in Scarborough months after it was founded in York, now having 100 stores across the UK and Ireland; including the one located in Broadwalk Shopping Centre, Port Solent. The brand also has a 24-hour footwear shopping channel on Sky.
The brand has recently reached its fifty year anniversary and prides itself in good customer service, following honesty, reliability and being trustworthy. In 2021 they became the first major UK shoe retailer to achieve both the Carbon Neutral International Certification and participation in the UN’s Climate Now Initiative.
The new Gosport store can be found at Alver Valley Garden Centre, Grange Farm, Gosport, PO13 8AB; with parking available near the entrance. Opening times and other details have not been announced at the time of writing.
